The Honeymoon Suite, where newly-weds traditionally spend their first night together as a married couple. The 4-poster bed is complemented by a small lounge area and en-suite room, with corner bath and separate shower.
The Baron's Suite, originally the private quarters of the Barons of Culcreuch in the 18th and 19th Centuries, occupies pride of place in the Castle and has a 4-poster bed among its many luxury furnishings.
Lounge area, large bathroom and breathtaking views across the front lawns complete the regal feeling which this, the largest room in the Castle, engenders.
The Chinese Bird Room takes its name from the hand painted Chinese wallpaper brought here in 1723, and believed to be one of the only original examples of this fine craftsmanship remaining in Scotland.

The Menzies Room is the only bedroom on the first floor and can be double or twin bedded, en-suite with shower over bath. It has views over to the Converted Stable Block, with glimpses of the Pinetum and on down the South Drive.
The Family Snug is situated in its own wing on the east side of the Castle and comprises a suite of double-bedded main room, twin full-size bunk-bedded room and family en-suite with bath and separate shower. It overlooks the lawns, Pinetum and South Drive. |
